Laxus Dreyar: Hogwarts AU

Laxus Dreyar is a Pureblood wizard that was born on the 16th of April 1967 and started attending Hogwarts on the 1st of September 1978, being sorted into Slytherin House.

He has a Hornbeam wand with a Dragon Heartstring core.

His Patronus is a Thunderbird.

His favorite subject is Defense Against the Dark Arts and his least favorite subject is Herbology.

He was one of the Slytherin Prefects of his year and later Head-Boy.

In his youth, Laxus was extremely kind, very attached to his grandfather Makarov, and greatly admired Hogwarts. This, however, changed upon his father becoming a wanted man, and Laxus' growing thought and suspicion that his fame was a result of being Makarov's grandson, and not of his own skills, made him eager to prove himself as a strong wizard in his own right.

Laxus was initially portrayed as arrogant, overbearing, selfish, and prone to make fun of his own comrades. He believed himself to be the strongest wizard ever from Slytherin House, and looked down on those he considered weak, heavily reprimanding their weakness and even resolving to hurt them whenever they stepped in his path. Laxus seemed to care very little about the other students, usually suggesting that they had to give him something in order to acquire his help; in one of such instances, when he was asked for help during the Heartfilia affair, he also proved himself to be quite lecherous, offering to help the school out only if the "big-boobed" Lucy Heartfilia had become his girlfriend and Cana Alberona had stripped before him.

Not even his trusted friends were spared of this treatment, as seen when Laxus almost hit Freed Justine with one of his jinxes for contradicting him. The only things he appeared to truly care about were the strength and reputation of Hogwarts, and he became enraged every time someone made fun of it. During his duel with Natsu Dragneel and Gajeel Redfox, he was shown entering a berserker-like state, in which he showed the most ruthless side of himself, being willing to laugh off Makarov's possibly imminent death and to annihilate not only Hogwarts, but also all of the inhabitants of Hogsmead, for his goals.

However, after his two years Azkaban sentence it appears that his attitude has changed. He seems far more light-hearted and serene, and apparently has grown fond of the school in his current state. He was also willing to take all the responsibility of the crimes for himself, in order for his friends to remain students at the school, even encouraging them for the time being. Even before his prison sentence, Freed claimed that Laxus inherited not only Makarov's magical prowess, but also his heart for caring for comrades.

Right before he turned himself in, when Makarov, alongside the majority of the Hogwarts students, silently told Laxus that he would always be watching over him right before his departure, he shed tears and was ashamed of his previous actions.

While he is a likely candidate to succeed his grandfather in taking over his seat at the Wizengamot, Makarov initially believed Laxus' intentions were not yet right, something proven right when Laxus stated that, once he had inherited leadership of his families' seat, he would have expelled all the weak students to create the strongest school in the world. This, however, seems to have changed after his time in Azkaban and "redemption," as Makarov was seen entrusting his will to him from afar after his brief confrontation with Hades.

Due to the many trips to Romania as a child, Laxus suffers from motion sickness, although he is extremely ashamed to admit it.

Juvia Lockser: Hogwarts AU

Juvia Lockser is a Muggleborn witch that was born on the 13th of November 1979 and started attending Hogwarts on the 1st of September 1991, being sorted into Slytherin house.

Growing up as an orphan in a muggle orphanage, she never knew what her bloodtype was and strived to prove herself when she found out that she was a witch.

On the Hogwarts Express, she meet Gajeel Redfox who would end up becoming her best friend for life and eventually the godfather to her future twins.

She and Gajeel, along with three other students, were tricked by a Death Eater named Jose Porla in their fourth year which led to them helping in the kidnapping of Lucy Heartfilia but when they realized that they had been tricked, they turned themselves in immediately which is the reason why they weren't expelled.

This led Juvia to meeting the Gryffindor Gray Fullbuster who she ended up falling in love with and eventually marrying.

She was a member of Makarov's Army where she ended up meeting the Hufflepuff Lisanna who had just started her first year after being held hostage for years, leading to a lifelong friendship.

She was eventually forced to go on the run due to being a muggleborn before she returned to Hogwarts to participate in the Battle of Hogwarts which she survived even if it took seven years to reveal that due to a mishap with a time turner.

After the Battle of Hogwarts, she started working as a Seamstress at Best Jeanist's Robes For All Occasions and married Gray to who she had one son and a pair of twins with.

She has a Willow wand with a Unicorn Hair core.

Her Patronus is a Dolphin.

That isn't due to any attempt to please their housewarden, of course (though it may be true in some cases).

Elaine's considered a natural-born talent. Seemingly picturesque of what one would consider to be the ‘perfect’ person.

Kind, compassionate, empathetic — Elaine isn't afraid to help those in need, even if it means getting her hands dirty in order to do so!

She's someone her friends can go to if they ever need to be comforted, or given advice. It almost always feels like Elaine knows exactly what to say for every given situation. Like she knows what they're about to say before they can even say it.

Everyone can rely on Elaine for help. Just give her a call, and she'll be right there to help!

Elaine's good at reading people — remarkably, so. Alas, some individuals are just a little too good at hiding who they really are, and use her willingness to help others to exploit it for personal gain.

Erza is especially serious, but has a soft spot for sweets and those she considers dear. She is an exceptionally skilled fighter, leader, and ally. Since then, he and his brother attended Bulwark Academy, but split off from there, with his brother attending Atlas and Gray going to Beacon.

Gray is a versatile fighter, highly skilled in the use of his semblance. If unable to produce a weapon, he can defend himself with his hand-to-hand combat abilities. His knowledge of physics and properties relating to ice also makes him a dangerous opponent if overlooked. However, Gray has developed a strange habit of removing his clothes at random points of opportunity, usually walking around shirtless. When asked why, he replied, "I just like the feel of the wind on me. If some bozo thinks he can hit me, then he's got one chance before I find him."

Weapon: Gate Key, a dust-round key that acts as a pistol and as a summoning catalyst.

Semblance: Gate, can magically summon "creature" conduits to aid in combat and daily life.

Raised in a loveless home by her single father, CEO of the Heartfilia Real Estate Agency in Atlas, Lucy had no one to play with. One day, she unlocked her semblance and was no longer lonely. However, these conduits could not last more than a few minutes, and so Lucy trained herself to make them last longer. Her cold father hired a tutor to instruct and train Lucy to hone her ability, both as an attempt to ready her for Atlas Academy and to distance her from his work. However, Lucy chose Beacon instead, wedging the gap further between father and daughter.

Lucy's semblance has the greatest potential with her versatile array of conduits, whose abilities range from hair-styling to defense to close-quarters-combat to aerial assault, and much more. Lucy herself, however, lacks a lot of necessary skills to survive as a huntress, such as stamina, durability, or general combat herself. However, what she lacks physically is made up for by miles, both mentally and emotionally. When asked which conduit was her favorite, she replied, "I can't really say who's my favorite, but my first one, Aquarius, will always be dear to my heart."

Semblance: Fire Dragon, can consume and convert fire into energy, and expel said fire.

No one knows where Natsu came from, nor are there any records of prior education. When asked who taught him or who raised him, he would respond, "My old man. He's a dragon." Whether this is a lie or a sign of failed mental faculties, none can say but him. Natsu simply arrived at Beacon, ready to attend.

However, Natsu is also the physically strongest of Beacon students in it's history. He shows exceptional combat prowess, fighting foes until they are overwhelmed by his power. There are reports of him eating fire dust crystals in his leisure. When asked, he replied, "Yeah, of course I do. It helps me get all fired up!"

CANCER, THE CRAB

Celestial Spirits are made to be quirky and comical and I don’t mind that to a degree but I’m gonna take a more serious approach. This spirit has so much more potential than just cutting hair, so here I am giving him more abilities and magic¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Also he does not end all his sentences with ‘ebi’ The basics of my Celestial Spirit lore can be found here.

History:

In ancient times, on another world, several Celestial Spirits descended. With their great power and knowledge, they soon earned the respect and following of the humans living nearby, becoming divine rulers. Of these, two particular Celestians stood above the others – she who drew power from the moon and water, and he who called upon lightning and the sky itself. They were lovers for many years, yet over time their relationship became twisted and embroiled in disloyalty and deceit.  He betrayed her with his adulterous ways, his new lover bearing his child. Whispers abounded about how the child would grow into a powerful figure.

Fearing destruction at his hands, the goddess put challenges and obstacles before the boy over the years as he grew, but he fought through them all successfully. One of her followers, dear Carcinos, offered himself to her defence, and she bestowed some of her great power on him. He went to battle for her, but ultimately sacrificed himself to give the goddess more time to prepare herself for the coming battle. To help and honor her supporter, the goddess helped his spirit ascend to the celestial plane, where he was aided by the Celestial Spirit King and was anchored to a constellation. They did not see each other again.

Much later, Carcinos and other Celestial Spirits would venture to Earthland. With an empathic, nurturing nature, he would be called upon to act as counsellor and peacekeeper, but his reputation as a fierce protector also led to frequent calls for his defence skills. He became known as Cancer, the giant crab.

Magic:

His attacking magic is Celestial Cuts. Before being a spirit, he wielded twin swords (similar to Lucy’s stardress form of his) and was an expert despite not having a desire to fight. As a spirit, the swords are now scissors, imbued with magic that allows them to cut through almost anything. He is able to transform the scissors into different blade styles, even back into swords, and can deliver multiple slices in the blink of an eye.

His defensive magic is Celestial Carapace. Typically, this magic is an invisible barrier/armour around him that is immensely difficult to break through. As his key holder grows stronger, so too does his defensive capabilities. He can extend this barrier out from himself, the range potential increasing with his summoner’s own increase in magic ability, or cast a shell around his key holder.

Misc:

He is associated with growth and has the ability to accelerate the growth of some things (such as when he grows someone’s hair back). His reputation as a ‘water’ sign comes both from his fluid fighting style and the way a flood of water appears when his Celestial Carapace spell is broken (a remnant from the old goddess magic he was initially gifted with).

The interest and penchant for hairstyling came about in more recent generations, after he saw how much a hairstyle could affect someone. He enjoys helping someone feel good about themselves and prefers it over using his blades for fighting.

He has been connected to the Heartfilia line since the beginning, they were drawn to each other due to their empathic and protective natures. He has always provided them with guidance and helped them maintain connections with the other families.

Cancer presents himself as being cool and even tempered, often hiding any troubles he may be feeling in order to focus more on other’s issues. He is deeply sensitive beneath that and is also extremely caring. He can be quite motherly and overly worried at times which can lead to rare cases of him snapping, but he is incredibly loyal.

Levy McGarden is a Muggleborn witch that was born on the 19th of September 1972 and started attending Hogwarts on the 1st of September 1984, being sorted into Ravenclaw House.

She has a Hazelnut wand with a Unicorn Hair core.

Her Patronus is Non-Corporeal.

Her favorite subject is Ancient Runes and her least favorite subject is Defense Against the Dark Arts.

She was one of the Ravenclaw Prefects of her year.

Levy has a cheerful and upbeat personality, and as such she is, rather easily, able to get along quite well with her housemates. Her kind spirit is shown through her reluctance to get involved in the many duels the students at Hogwarts has together, as she is too nice to fight "just for fun." She is also a very forgiving person, as she reconciled with Gajeel Redfox for beating her and her best friends up before the start of the Porla incident, and later allowed him to become her partner for a class project (albeit Gajeel more or less declared himself her partner).

Levy is characterized by her love for reading, which is how she and the Gryffindor Lucy Heartfilia quickly became friends: through their mutual love of books. Levy has also been the only person to read Lucy's novel with her consent, showing their level of trust in each other. At times, however, Levy can be rather competitive. Lucy Heartfilia is a Half-Blood witch that was born on the 1st of July 1980 and started attending Hogwarts on the 1st of September 1991, being sorted into Gryffindor house but she was a hatstall between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw.

Her mother was a member of the Order of the Phoenix during the First Wizarding War and eventually passed away which led to Lucy's father to become overprotective of her and not want her to be involved with the wizarding world at all.

This is the reason why she ran away from home right before her 11th birthday and was eventually found by Natsu Dragneel who showed her the way to the Fairy Tail orphanage where she later grew up.

Thanks to this, she and Natsu became best friends with the two of them hanging out a lot together before and after starting Hogwarts, with Gray and Erza often hanging out with them as well.

Her father did eventually found her and tried to get her to come home and abandoned the dangerous world she lived in but she refused, standing up for her father for the first time in her life and saying to him that the Fairy Tail Orphanage was her true family and not him.

She eventually meet Anna Heartfilia, an ancestor of hers who had gotten stuck in their time after a mishap with a time turner, and started living with her after this with Natsu, Gray, Erza and Levy often visiting her.

She was a member of Makarov's Army and eventually went on the run with Natsu, Gray and Erza to find Zeref's Horcruxes before participating in the Battle of Hogwarts which all four of them survived despite being believed to have been killed for over seven years.

This was due to a mishap with a time Turner which sent her and many others from the Fairy Tail orphanage seven years forward in time.

She was heartbroken when she realized that her father had passed away from cancer during those seven years and mourned the fact that she didn't get a second chance with her father.

She eventually became an author and a reporter of the Daily Prophet and got married to Natsu, who she ended up having two daughters and a son together with.

She has a Pear wand with a Dragon Heartstring core.

I NEED TO TALK ABOUT FT (not theatre -related, this is a shock, ik): A LUCY HEARTFILIA DEFENSE RANT

This is just something that’s been peeving my cheese as I scroll through my dash or tags. This fandom is just so fucking problematic??? (also, a disclaimer: every single fandom has its problematic fans but right now, Fairy Tail is making me pissed off even though I'm in it but not religiously. I need to rant like right now. And this isn’t to say everyone in this fandom is bad but the chosen few are just)

Now, I love, love, love this anime. it’s one of my favorites but I stopped caring about it or even writing about it (we don’t look back at the ol fanfics about NaLu that are on a waaaaaay older account) because the fandom is so awful. It’s like, you can’t even have an opinion without other people shitting on you. Also, the hate in it is so damn terrible.

I see this one account all the time with confessions about this show (this isn't hating towards them, they’re just doing their job) and I see all of this hate towards Lucy. It’s fine to not like a character, everyone has their own opinions on things. But there was one where someone said Lucy had no importance to the plot. What. The. Fuck.

Without her, there’d be no Fairy Tail, there’d be no storyline because Lucy is the narrator and she’s the start of it all! Without her, there’d be so many things that never happened and people just forget that! Then, there are a few that just call Lucy weak because legit everyone else in the show is OP when Lucy’s abilities are a bit more realistic since they BUILD UP over time. She didn’t start out with all of these incredible abilities like Natsu and Gray did at the beginning of the show. She ended up finding her true power, some that most people with her powers never did, not even Yukino how some of y’all swear is more powerful than Lucy but who has 10 out of 13 Zodiac keys? Oh right.

She didn’t grow up in a place where she could use her powers for combat; she was sheltered, hated her life and only used her spirits so she could have friends and didn’t ask them to fight or anything!!! Also, people say that she has no reason to be a true hero since she has no backstory. She lost her mother, her father was a dick that was about to marry her away and attacked her guild just to bring her home after she ran away for good reasons, suffered a lot of losses along the way, and suffered from loneliness all throughout her childhood and when the guild disbanded. Oh, yeah. someone said that it was lucy’s own fault for being cut off from the guild after that. THEY WENT THEIR OWN WAY, ALL OF THEM WHAT THE FUCK YOU WANT HER TO DO HUH?

People even mistake her kindness for a weakness! In fact, her kindness is one of her greatest strengths! Can’t we just have a sweet character that doesn’t kick someone’s ass without asking the real questions first? (@ Natsu and @ Gray and @ Erza) She helped and never stopped fighting for people but did it in a way that shows her true compassion. And when people think that being nice is a sign of being weak, it just shows a lot about your character.

Sometimes I just swear this fandom hates women that don’t have manly-esque personalities like Erza. It seems like if you guys have a main female character that acts like how most girls act and isn’t from a League of Legends game, y’all are never satisfied. She grew up sheltered and lonely, don’t expect characters like her to be overpowered and overly buff. Lucy is strong in her own way and it’s evident she became much stronger over the course of the anime while still keeping her personality true to herself. Stop trying to make Lucy out to be this weak girl when, in reality, she has so much more strength and intelligence (in her own way) than some of these characters. You don’t have to like her, but get your facts correct when all you’re trying to do is bring down a character that Hiro Mashima worked so hard to create. He would be disappointed if he saw what these heathens have been doing on Tumblr. (He probably is, I know I am)

Lucy Heartfilia is the strongest celestial mage to ever live. She has amazing skills in celestial magic and a great bond with her spirits. She has proved from time to time that holder type magic is also a strong magic which can turn tables on enemies.

So let's take a look on her abilities, shall we?

Celestial Spirits having contact with Lucy Heartfilia :

Golden Key Spirits :

Leo(Lion)~

Leo uses Regulus light. He's the leader of the zodiacs and also the most efficient combatant among them. He has the ability to open his own gate when his summoner is in trouble. He can efficiently respond to camoflauge attacks.

Virgo(Maid)~

Virgo is arguably the second strongest spirit among the zodiacs with incredible Earth magic(Spica lock, spica hole, chains attack, diving undergroud, pitfall etc). She is an efficient combatant and has a good control over speed. She can also appear on her own when needed.

Fact : Leo and Virgo take more power to keep their gates open than other zodiacs.

Aquarius(Mermaid)~

Aquarius is an incredibly strong mermaid spirit with amazing water powers. Maybe because she's so strong, she needs a condition(water) to summon her. She takes also takes more mp to keep her gate open like Leo and Virgo because of her powers.

Taurus(Cow)~

Taurus is very good at physical strength however, his magic doesn't allow him to perform any element based attack like Leo/Virgo/Aquarius. His axe is a weapon with heavy force.

Aries(Ram)~

Aries performs wool based magic. Her wool is powerful enough to stop any spell that requires incantation like Fairy Glitter, Urano Metria, Grand Chariot, Fairy Sphere, Fairy Law etc. Her wool also works great against powerful water attacks and it can help tangle the enemy in wool to buy some time.

Capricorn(Goat)~

Capricorn can cancel any kind of eye magic with his glasses and he's an efficient combatant. He's very good in close range combat.

Sagittarius(Shooter)~

Sagittarius is the master archer with incredible shooting skills. He's a great help in long range attacks.

Scorpio(Scorpion)~

Scorpio has the ability to produce huge sand cyclones. His sand wall is an efficient defense skill.

Gemini(Twins)~

These twins can copy any mage present at the moment along with their magic abilities but the said mage has to be on the same level or lower than the summoner.

Cancer(Crab)~

Cancer is a spirit with incredible speed and sharpness(his scissors). He can cross a huge distance within seconds and cut down people's hair or objects like that.

Silver Key Spirits :

Horologium~

One of the most useful spirits, it comes to rescue the summoner whenever their lives are on line.

Pyxis~

Pyxis has a strong sense of directions. Even when the normal compasses don't work, Pyxis can definitely be useful. It's stated by Lucy that Celestial spirits have stronger sense than humans.

Lyra~

This spirit has a beautiful singing voice and she can touch and bring out the feelings of any heart with the help of her melodious voice.

Plue~

It is a very cute celestial spirit with a good smell sense.

Crux~

Crux is basically a knowledge box and has all the info regarding the celestial word and other celestial mages along with their Powers and history. He comes in handy a lot with his power of knowledge.

Urano Metria~>

When the user recites the incantation, the 88 constellations of the sky come down as spheres and bestow their power upon the caster. This person then aims at their intended target and releases the energy gathered into a tremendous attack. This is the ultimate magic of the stars.

StarDress :

Stardress is a new concept to celestial magic. Spell in which the user incorporates the power of a Celestial Spirit into their body by placing the key of the Spirit in question on their chest. The power manifests itself in the form of dress which is similar to Requip. The user adopts the powers and appearance of the spirit they choose and also adopts a portion of their powers, being able to make use of their mp. This power also allows the user to make use of spells of their own that may require more than one person due to the tremendous amount of mp required to cast it.

Fact : Lucy is the first celestial mage to ever access the power from the zodiac gate spirits. Even her mother and her ancestor Anna who were considered strong celestial mages couldn't do this technique. Lucy is also the only celestial mage to be invited to the celestial world by the CSK himself.

Let's take a look at Lucy's StarDresses, shall we now?

StarDresses Lucy Heartfilia can access :

Leo Form~

This dress gives it's summoner the ability to use Regulus light magic, and she can use attacks like Regulus Kick and Regulus Punch which is very useful for mid-range and close combat.

Virgo Form~

This star dress gives the ability to use earth magic like Pitfall, summoner can use diver magic. It also provides a good amount of raw power and it's incredibly versatile form. This stardress can also access Aqua Metria water version.

Aquarius Form~

Summoner can use Aqua Metria(both Earth version which makes the ground swell like huge waves and water version which creates a big wave of water. It also gives the ability to do a very strong defense spell Water Barrier.

Sagittarius Form~

One of the most powerful stardresses which gives the ability to do long range attacks. It acts very useful when there are huge number of opponents. It has a spell called Star Shot which provides an unlimited supply of shots and marksmanship ability.

Aries Form~

It's wool can stop attacks that need incantation like Fairy Glitter, Grand Chariot, Fairy Sphere, Urano Metria, Fairy Law etc.

Capricorn Form~

This form gives the user a pair of glasses that cancels all the eye magics possible. It may also be useful in close combat because that's one of Capricorn's abilities.

Gemini Form~

This one helps in transformation, to turn anyone into anything like fishes regardless of their power level being more than the summoner. But of course, it may have some conditions for the transformation process.

Cancer Form~

It equips the summoner with dual blades similar to that of Cancer and enhanced speed. Both of these factors being huge advantages in battle.

Scorpio Form~

Gives summoner the ability to use sand magic like Scorpio. It cages the opponent in a whirlpool of sand, giving summoner the ability to move freely across it, this form helps to land swift kicks in that huge sandstorm. It also provides enhanced speed.

Taurus Form~

This increases the summoner's brute strength by a certain level giving a lot of raw power. It also provides with a strong whip which can do attacks like Earth Wave.

StarDress Mix :

The summoner can also combine their star dresses into one which manifests itself in the form of a dress and a crossed keys tattoo at the back of their hand with each key representing the Celestial Spirit gate keys of the StarDress forms that are being merged together.

StarDress Mix Lucy Heartfilia can access :

Lion Maiden~

This form gives the summoner access to Leo and Virgo's powers and cast a strong spell with Regulus and Spica power.

Aqua Stream~

This form gives the summoner powers of Aquarius and Scorpio. It can one-shot a Metro Golem with a powerful spell.

Lucy Heartfilia as a Celestial Spirit Mage can do:

Fairy Sphere-

One of the three greatest spells of Fairy Tail guild. Lucy was able to cast it with the help of magic power of the entire continent in the Alveraze Empire Arc. She is the only one so far after master Mavis, who was able to provoke this spell trapping Achnologia inside.

Gottfried-

In Celestial Spirit Arc, it was performed by Lucy, Yukino and Princess Hisui to break the Celestial Globe when nobody was even able to scratch it. It requires the casters to sit down and hold hands while one casts the spell, it reflects great pain upon the casters but is incredibly strong.

Unison Raid-

Lucy and Juvia were able to do it in their first attempt during the Tower Of Heaven Arc. It requires two powerful wizards with a very strong bond/mutual understanding and still they were able to do it. It was because of the fact that both of the magics that Lucy and Juvia uses were very compatible with each other. Later, Lucy and Wendy also use a Unison Raid against Hades in Tenrou Island Arc.

Re-writing Demonic Scripts-

She can re-write demonic scripts. She used it to rewrite the book of E.N.D. miraculously separating Natsu from the book during his battle with Zeref. Even Zeref was shocked and find it hard to believe that a mere human could rewrite a demonic script even after enduring a huge amount of pain.

Anti Nightmare Spell-

With the help of the infinity clock, she was able to use this spell saving the lives of 100 other celestial wizards in the Key To The Starry Sky Arc.

Forced Gate Closure-

This is not something every celestial mage can do. It's actually a very big deal in celestial world. Comes in handy when your spirits are out of control, like when Sherry controlled Taurus in the Galuna Island Arc or when a demon consumed both Aries and Taurus, Lucy forcefully closed their gates saving all of them.

Simultaneous Summoning-

Lucy can open upto 5 zodiac gates within a single day.

Multiple Summoning-

Lucy is able to summon multiple spirits at a time, which is actually a forbidden technique because it puts summoner's life on risk but after the unleash of her second origin during GMG Arc she was able to do it nearly effortlessly and then finally summoning three at a time during Tartaros Arc (Leo, Virgo and Aquarius).

Fact : Leo, Virgo and Aquarius take more mp than other zodiacs because of how powerful they are.

Summoning The CSK-

She had to sacrifice Aquarius's key to summon the celestial spirit king during the Tartaros Arc. She is the only mage who could do that because as per Aquarius, only celestial mages powerful enough to open 3 strongest gates at once can summon the CSK.

Zodiac Clamation-

A spell used by Lucy and Yukino to call upon the entire zodiac in the Eclipse Arc, it helped them in closing the Eclipse gate when 7 dragons invaded. Lucy contributed to opening 10 zodiac gates at once.

Opening All Of The Spirit Gates At Once-

Lucy is capable of opening all of the spirit gates keys she has in earthland for quite a few seconds which is nearly impossible and a forbidden technuque due to it's outcome. The summoner can die of magic deficiency. Lucy did that very early in the series. She again did that in the sequel in Elentir(although it was because Elentir's magic flow) but this time, she opened 10 zodiac gates at once and held onto that for enough time. No celestial wizard has been ever done that except Lucy.

Whip Specialist-

Lucy is very efficient in using a whip. She has countered a good number of people with it and defeated Edolas Byro with only a magical whip Virgo gave her(Fleuve d'étoiles).

So this was an updated version of Lucy's abilities. I'm really proud of ma gurl, look how much she has improved since the first time she was introduced.

Can I? Can I rant about Star Dresses for a moment here?

Alright. First off, I hate Capricorn's star dress. It's so skimpy and revealing, which I have nothing against, but it makes no sense when you take Capricorn's personality into factor.

Capricorn is supposed to be the stiff upper lip, upright, proper, Butler of the Heartfilia family and of the spirits. He likes to read poetry and meditate for God's sake!

His star dress should not be so revealing. It should be Loke's. He's the pervert, but even his star dress is less revealing/sexy than Capricorn's.

It should have been a suit, or if you wanted something pretty and 'girly' a leotard that ballet dancers wear. A leotard would be somewhat 'sexy' or 'fanservicy' compared to a suit, but it would have still have fit with Capricorn's upper class, Butler personality.

Sorry about this rant, I just needed to get it out and hoped someone would listen.

Oh I FULLY agree with all of this. I hate Capricorn's dress and it deserves to burn in hell. I've said this before-- Capricorn, the strict butler whose first concern with Lucy was her diet, is the last person that should ever approve of that madly impractical excuse of a skirt flap. The cleavage is ridiculous, too. I hate that all the close combat type dresses are just one Mashima-impulse away from a convenient wardrobe malfunction.

Apparently in the sketches, Capricorn's dress was supposed to be a modest formal suit, with a pencil skirt. We were robbed of businesswoman Lucy in favour of some sexualised nightmare.

I have mixed feelings about Loke's, but you're right! It makes sense. It's gorgeous, it matches Loke's suit in a ballroom way, and it's definitely something Loke would personally choose for Lucy simply because he thinks it'll look good on her. (That's how I interpret the designs of Star Dresses come, by the way. The spirits control the design, hence why Taurus' also looks sexy. And she looks GOOD.)

Capricorn's Star Dress was just Mashima being drunk, I like to think. And honestly... it could have been a Butler suit. Like, pants and all. There are female butlers, but what I really want is a more tomboyish vibe. She's getting glasses and braids? Why not go all out and make her a librarian? It'd fit with Capricorn's meditative, studious, teacher-like air. We don't get much on Capricorn himself, but using him to fight would just be redundant since Taurus and Leo already have 'power' checked. Why not use Capricorn on the investigative side of things? Isn't Lucy supposed to be the intellectual type? Capricorn would be the perfect spirit to enhance this part of her.

It'd be interesting to see a Star Dress that can battle, but isn't battle-focused. Celestial Spirit magic isn't inherently a combative magic, so I think it'd make more sense if the pacifists of the group had dresses that reflected that and focused on the background work, eg Aries continuing to be the defensive fortress or trap setter, rather than just another projectile weapon option.

Honestly most of the dresses are subpar, but instead of improving on those designs with upgrades, changes, retcons (he can do that. Imagine if some parts of the dress change as Lucy gets better at using them??) he decides to merge them, creating either over-designed nonsense or under-designed nonsense that's being used in other to create more fanservice. I'm speaking of both the sexual and non-sexual kind of fan service, by the way-- they're giving Lucy a new combination dress in every fight in 100yq. Why? Because people go crazy over new things, even if the design is clustered and awful character design.

The Aquarius-Gemini dress fills me with unspeakable rage. How could you mix the most modest dress with the most balanced dress and end up with negative fabric? We really just want the bare minimum and somehow he's brought a shovel.

I've seen people call others who hate the current Star Dresses 'just haters' because Mashima's always been like that, but that's an utterly tone deaf perspective. I don't care about practicality in a realistic perspective since this is a manga, but 'he has always done that' is not an excuse to turn Fairy Tail into half-assed softcore pornography. We're allowed to be infuriated when the design is awful, and it's not because we hate Lucy, it's literally the opposite! We think she deserves better! SO MUCH BETTER!
